to stare into the camera

a hole through paper

by that bare white wall
and see if you can make
me feel something
unexpected
and sad

I need you
to let my assistants
unbutton your shirt
button by button
Stay indifferent
as they pull your pants
down then lie on the bed
as if no one were in it
or ever will be
or ever was
